JON-ERIK KELLSO was born in Detroit, Michigan. He began early
playing in a big band at age 11, a youth symphony at 13, and in concert with
Wild Bill at 17. He has appeared with Dapogny throughout the country. After
moving to N.Y. in '89, he has played and recorded with Vince Giordano, Howard
Alden, Dan Barrett, Marty Grosz, Milt Hinton, Bob Haggart and Kenny Davern.
Jon-Erik has toured Europe, as well as playing jazz parties and festivals
throughout the states. He has also toured Japan with The World's Greatest
Jazz Band. He can be heard on many Arbor Records.
