Kim Cusack is probably best known for his long association with James Dapogny's Chicago Jazz Band and his more than 35 year tenure with the venerable Salty Dogs Jazz Band. Kim has also played and recorded with Gene Mayl's Dixieland Rhythm Kings, Ernie Carson, Turk Murphy, Georg Brunis, Wild Bill Davison, and the Jan Garber, Orchestra. Originally from the Chicago area, Cusack has recently come "home", and appears often in such places as Dick's Last Resort and the Village Tavern in Long Grove. He is also a member of the Florsheim Five, the official Dixieland band of the Chicago Cubs baseball team.
