Bill Allred began playiing in Rock Island, IL, his hometown. He played for two years with the Dixie Lads, then formed the Davenport Jazz Band. He went with the Walt Disney World concert band and led the jazz band there. His next stop was Rosie O'Grady's in Orlando where he organized the Good Time Jazz Band and was Entertainment Director for 15 years. In addition, he has played throughout the world with great players such as Jack Teagarden, Billy Butterfield, Milt Hinton, Wild Bill and many others. He appears at many festivals and has recorded extensively.
