Ken Peplowski - Clarinet
KEN PEPLOWSKI - CLARINET
Ken Peplowski was born in Cleveland, OH and played his first professional
engagement at 10. He played with many classical and jazz groups before going
on the road with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. He moved to NY in '80 and
appeared with Dixieland bands and modern jazz ensembles, from Max Kaminsky
and Jimmy McPartland to symphony orchestras. He was also a member of Benny
Goodman's last working orchestra. He has recorded many albums, solo, and with
Mel Torme, Peggy Lee, George Shearing, Dan Barrett and Susan McCorkle. Ken
plays many of the major jazz festivals and clubs in the United States and around
the world.
